Canal Rally

Boats gather at the former junction of the Worcester & Birmingham and Dudley No 2 canals in support of the Lapal Canal Trust's aim of restoring the latter canal.

Canal supporters gather at the Scout Hut on Gibbins Rd to hear about the Lapal Canal project and also about Sainbury's plans to build a supermarket on the former route of the Dudley No 2 Canal. Canal groups and local residents groups agree that the proposed alternative route is not viable.
