CP4SO actively campaigns for a better deal for Selly Oak. We
lobby Birmingham City Council on planning and regeneration issues and regularly
respond to consultations. Here are some of our recent consultation activities.
MSc Dissertation. The Impact of Studentification on a Built Heritage: the case of Bournbrook.

Student Housing Policy. Despite having 5 Universities and being
home to nearly 100,000 students Birmingham has no policy on student housing. We
have written a draft policy and presented it to the council.We also campaigned for an Article 4 declaration to restrict houses in multiple occupancy in Selly Oak.
We also lobby on large planning applications such as the new
Selly Oak Shopping Park and the Sainsbury’s Triangle.
